The Goliath Flag is a very unique and advanced bet as it contains eight selections but is not like a normal combination bet.

This is a great bet for advanced punters. It has 8 selections and combines doubles, trebles, fourfold accumulators, fivefold accumulators, six-fold accumulators, seven-fold accumulators and a single eightfold accumulator as well as twenty-eight single stakes about bets.

So if selection H wins then we have a return of £0.80.
We keep £0.70 as profit and place the remaining £0.10 on selection G.
So if selection G wins then we have a return of £0.80.
This gives us a total profit on this portion of the bet of £1.50.

This means that with scenario 2, we would have made a total return of £9.40, so a loss of £51.20 on our original outlay of £60.60.

Looking at those scenarios above, it is clear we are going to need at least three winners in this bet to make a profit

If you are wondering how much the return would be if we had all eight horses win in this example, then the total return would be £915,370.89p for an outlay of £60.60. (N.B. Most bookmakers will have a daily payout limit of £1,000,000)

In our example, we used £0.10 as our stake, but you can also place this bet for smaller or larger stakes.
