How To Place a Bet at BetVictor

First, you need to know which event you’re going to bet on. It’s no use placing bets on random events that you know next to nothing about – stick to what you know in the beginning and you’ll be better for it.

BetVictor makes it easy to find your favourite sports and events via two menus: one at the top of the Sports section and another on the left-hand side of your screen. To open the left-side menu, click “Find” located in the footer menu.

When you’ve picked an event, you’ll be ready to place your first bet. You may notice that rather than offering Win or Draw markets, BetVictor displays results in the form of numbers. Fear not, as the numbers are explained below:

  • 1 refers to the home side winning.
  • X refers to a draw.
  • 2 refers to the away side winning.

Click on the odds displayed beneath the number that best represents the outcome you want to bet on. Doing this adds that selection to your bet slip. You can view your bet slip by clicking “Betslip” from the footer menu.

Your bet slip is one of the most important aspects of your BetVictor account. Without it, you can’t bet at all. Use it to weigh up your wagers, decide on suitable stakes and assess price changes.

To place the bet, enter your stake in the box provided within your bet slip, then choose whether or not you want to accept potential price changes for that market. When ready, press the green box to confirm your bet.

How To Place an Accumulator Bet

Accumulator bets work in the same way as singles, with the only difference being the number of bets in your selection. Where singles consist of just one bet, accumulators – also known as accas – are made up of at least four

To create an accumulator at Betfair, follow the same process mentioned in the previous section. However, this time you’ll add four or more bets to your betslip instead of one. It’s also worth noting that accumulators can span different events but each bet must be within the same market.

For example: if you want to bet on Liverpool To Win, each of your other selections must be in the To Win market too.

After adding at least four bets from the same market to your betslip, it’s time to place the acca. Open your betslip, then take a careful look at what it now displays. You should see a new area below your selection that reads “Multiple Bet Options”. In this section, BetVictor will tell you the number of bets in your accumulator by reading x-fold accumulator.

So, if you have five bets in your acca, it’ll say “5-fold”. If there are seven bets, you’ll see “7-fold”, and so on.

Enter your stake in the available box, then confirm your accumulator.

How To Place an Accumulator Bet on the App

Placing an accumulator via the BetVictor app is very similar to the site. The app is designed to look like the browser version of the betting platform, just on a much smaller scale dedicated to mobile devices.

You can view your favourite accumulator markets in exactly the same way that you do on the BetVictor website, but there are some minor differences when it comes to adding bets to your bet slip.

When you pick a selection on the website it’s instantly added to your bet slip. On the app, you’ll be met with a pop-up that prompts you to place a “Quick Bet”. Although this feature is intuitive, you won’t want to use it when creating an acca. Select “Add to Betslip” to avoid confusion.

Once you’ve added a minimum of four selections to your slip, open it up. You’ll need to scroll to the bottom of the bet slip’s page to enter your stake. It may not be immediately apparent where to input the stake as the obvious box found on the website isn’t present on the app. Instead, tap the small box to the left-hand side of your odds to open a new area where you can type your preferred stake.

Next, confirm your bet by pressing “Place Bets” in the rectangular green box at the very bottom of your bet slip.

How To Bet on Multiples at BetVictor

Betting using multiples other than the accumulator is a natural forward step on your sports betting journey. Once you understand the fundamentals of singles, doubles, trebles and accumulators, playing around with the likes of Yankees and Trixies is a breeze.

You bet on multiples in the same way that you do any other kind of wager. Select a market, pick outcomes from that market, then add it to your bet slip. Rinse and repeat.

If you have a keen eye, you might have noticed that there are other options available in your bet slip when you’ve created an accumulator. These bet-types are hidden until you click “Show More”.

Now you can view a whole host of betting options, like Canadians, Lucky 31’s, Trixies, Super Yankees and many more. If you’ve ever created an accumulator, chances are you’ve unknowingly set up a multiple bet-type too!

Below, you’ll find a list of the most popular multiples at BetVictor and what you need to add to your bet slip to create them.

  • Yankees: 6 Doubles, 4 Trebles and 1 Four-Fold Accumulator. Two bets must come good to get a return.
