Two big names are at the top of this stats chart, but in the third spot, we find the little-known Cameron Champ. Champ has carried this long driving form into the 2022 season and currently sits top of this year’s stats with an average “boom off the tee” of 320 yards. Matthew Wolff who was fourth last year is currently third this year with an average of 317.3 yards off the tee.
Champ is currently priced up at 125/1 while Wolff is an even bigger price at 150/1.
As we said, it’s “Drive for show, putt for dough” so how do these two big hitters rate in terms of accuracy. It’s OK having the distance, but without accuracy, they are going to struggle.
Champ is rated 202 with an average of 50.49% with Wolff just a little better at 191 and 52.33%. So both are near the bottom of the pile on accuracy.
