The change has been majorly successful. For context, in 2004 Unibet had 300,000 registered customers. Following the switch to The Kindred Group, the company saw over 1 million players create accounts with their operators for the first time.

The Kindred Group is simply a brand name for the company that owns Unibet and other online and retail gambling platforms. Previously, Unibet Group plc owned Unibet.

The new name makes it easier to understand exactly who owns who. On top of that, it creates a clear separation between the popular betting platform and The Kindred Group’s other interests – of which there are plenty.
