I’m Conor, a freelance writer with experience across various topics. While most of my work is related to sports betting and online casinos, my favourite pass-time is actually playing and studying poker!

With almost half a decade of experience in the bag, I’ve written thousands of pieces – both long and short-form. Some of these articles are guides, others reviews. I love doing what I do, not just because I find pleasure in writing but also because I feel a particular responsibility towards readers looking for informative and easily digestible content.

Over the years I’ve gone in-depth on many popular online betting sites, as well as several lesser-known gambling platforms. In my experience, the key to finding great betting websites is all about research. Whether it’s examining the T&C’s on an offer or sifting through other customer’s opinions of the site, there’s no wrong way to go about it.

Admittedly, the process of developing an article is never easy. That said, there are few better feelings than putting together an article where everything just clicks. Any writers out there, I’m sure you know what I mean!

And when I’m not writing or testing different poker charts, you’ll usually find me catching up on the latest Premier League action or watching old Formula 1 races. I’ve been a Liverpool fan since I was about 6 or 7 years old and it’s a passion I hope to hold on to for the rest of my life. In supporting Liverpool, there have been very high highs and incredibly low-lows (looking at you, Roy Hodgson!). Nevertheless, I’ve got memories from almost every season that I’ll cherish forever.

Formula 1 is more of a recent hobby, but it’s reeled me in regardless. I’m constantly reading the latest news, views, and highlights during each race weekend. Now, I won’t claim to be an expert on F1. However, I will tell you that Pierre Gasly is one of the best drivers on the grid.

Like most people these days, I have a tendency to lose myself scrolling through the likes of Instagram and Twitter. There’s really no better way to connect with people of similar interests all over the world, and I think that’s something worth participating in. I find that although there are many hot takes out there, everyone’s opinion is worth something.
