Dean has been gambling on sports for over 20 years now. He can remember the days of the

Dean is a keen follower of Premier League and Champions League football, happy to give
his opinion on who he thinks will win what, or who is the biggest diver, or the biggest waste
of money, etc.

In his spare time, Dean – for his sins – is a (mothballed) supporter of Coventry City FC. He
also likes to go and watch cricket in his spare time, occasionally visiting Edgbaston to watch
England, Warwickshire, or Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred.

These days though, a lot of that spare time is taken up by having to take his son to play for
his Saturday and Sunday football teams.

Meaning, instead of watching Joe Root’s England play the Ashes in the warm Sydney
sunshine, he is more likely to be found by the side of a muddy football pitch, getting soaked,
and half freezing to death!
